MOTs are a legal requirement for cars that are over 3 years old – this ensures that your vehicle adheres to both roadworthiness and environmental standards.

Bear in mind, though, that an MOT test certificate does not guarantee the general mechanical condition of the vehicle. Nor, by itself, does it necessarily mean that the car is either safe or legal to drive.

Our MOT testers work in designated MOT testing bays, using equipment that meets the required VOSA specifications for MOT testing. Our MOT Test Centre in Kidwelly is authorised by VOSA, the vehicle and operator services agency, which is our governing body. All of our MOT testers are fully trained and certified by VOSA.

MOTs can be carried out up to a month before your current MOT certificate runs out. You can either leave your car with us or wait at our workshop in Kidwelly whilst your MOT is carried out – it usually takes less than an hour!
